Alphabet Enters the Computer-Controlling AI Race with Project Jarvis

Alphabet’s Google is reportedly developing “Project Jarvis,” an advanced AI tool aimed at performing everyday online tasks by autonomously operating within Chrome.

Using screen analysis, Jarvis could soon help users with tasks like booking flights, online shopping, and filling forms. This comes on the heels of Anthropic’s similar functionality in Claude, marking a competitive push as Alphabet, OpenAI, xAI, and Meta each aim to lead in AI-driven computer control.

Rumors suggest Jarvis may debut in December alongside Google’s next model, Gemini 2.0, setting the stage for a highly anticipated AI showdown.

Bitcoin’s Rally Holds Amid DOJ Scrutiny of Tether

Bitcoin rebounded above $68,500 in European trading, rising 2.4% in the last 24 hours after Tether quickly denied a DOJ probe into its sanctions compliance, soothing market nerves. Major tokens like ETH and SOL posted similar gains, while DOGE surged 6%, leading the rebound.

Meanwhile, Steno Research reports that MicroStrategy’s premium on BTC holdings is unsustainable, especially as bitcoin ETFs make direct BTC investments easier. In other news, Hong Kong’s stock exchange plans to launch virtual asset indexes next month, boosting the city’s crypto visibility.
