Is Cursor the ChatGPT of Coding?
There’s a new AI tool on the block that’s making waves—Cursor. Designed for both technical and non-technical users, Cursor allows you to generate code simply by giving it a prompt, similar to how ChatGPT works with text.
While it’s not perfect, Cursor can debug its own output based on user feedback, enabling even beginners to build functional apps. However, the rise of Cursor doesn’t mean the end of software developers. Instead, it’s poised to boost productivity and lower the entry barriers for those new to coding.
I’m a non-technical Founder (with a background in sales and marketing) and don’t know the first thing about coding.
But if I were to take a guess…
I see new AI developments as something that will enhance the workflow of most software developers (rather than replace them entirely).
It wouldn’t surprise me if companies downsized their dev teams because AI enables a small pool of developers to take on a larger volume of work.
Either way - if you’re a developer (or you have a team of developers) I’d have them check out Cursor.

Bitcoin Holds Steady as September Market Sentiment Wavers
Bitcoin hovered around $58,000 during a calm Labor Day in the U.S., trading at about $58,600, up 1% over the past 24 hours. The broader crypto market saw modest gains, with ETH and SOL rising 1.9% and 0.5%, respectively. Despite the minor uptick, U.S.-listed BTC ETFs experienced $175 million in outflows, marking four consecutive days of losses.
September is historically bearish for Bitcoin, but some traders believe a potential Fed rate cut could reverse the trend. On the political front, Polymarket traders favor Donald Trump, as Kamala Harris’ odds slipped amid controversy.
