Meta Vision Pro Competitor Launching in 2025?

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is set to finalize a partnership with LG Electronics for developing a new XR headset, aiming to launch in early 2025 as a competitor to Apple Vision Pro.

Zuck is meeting with LG Electronics CEO William Cho and key executives from LG Group’s IT subsidiaries in South Korea.

Reports suggest this collaboration aims to produce "the highest-performing XR headset" by the first quarter of next year, potentially positioning it against Apple's Vision Pro.

Additionally, rumors have circulated about Meta and LG planning to release two new headsets: a budget-friendly Quest model priced under $200 in 2024, and a more advanced 'Pro' model.

The collaboration could significantly impact the XR headset market, merging Meta's and LG's expertise to challenge Apple's dominance with innovative hardware and software features.

Either way, Apple and Meta’s rivalry seems to be pushing the world of virtual reality forward at a fast pace.

Figure AI Raises $675M

Figure AI, an AI startup focusing on developing human-like robots, recently raised $675 million, which shows a major surge in investor interest towards humanoid robots.

The investments came from multiple household names including:

• Jeff Bezos

• Nvidia

• Amazon

• Microsoft and

• Intel

The company's valuation hit $2 billion pre-money because of this.

These investors clearly have an interest in advanced robotics solutions for fixing labor shortages (especially in the manufacturing industry).

Figure AI's flagship product, the Figure 01 robot, is designed as a versatile humanoid assistant that can perform a range of tasks, from manufacturing to household chores, with the potential to relieve human workers from dangerous and monotonous jobs.

The company's recent partnership with BMW to deploy these robots in manufacturing shows some immediate applications of its technology.

As of this writing, it sits at $57,181. The ATH took place in November 2021 when it hit $68,982.20 a few years ago.

At the rate BTC has been pumping these last few days, it’s 100% possible we could blow through that in March.

ETH and SOL are also making major runs at the moment as well. ETH Crossed $3,000 and is sitting at $3,244. Solana is at $108.
