Hollywood Legends Resurrected by ElevenLabs

ElevenLabs has unveiled a new ‘Iconic Voices’ feature for its Reader App, allowing users to hear text read by AI-generated voices of famous Hollywood stars. The initial lineup includes Judy Garland, James Dean, Burt Reynolds, and Sir Laurence Olivier, with more to come. ElevenLabs has secured licensing agreements with CMG Worldwide, ensuring proper rights management for the estates of these late celebrities. Users can have AI voices read various text formats within the Reader App, though they can't create shareable content with these voices. This development intensifies competition for voice actors and sets a strong licensing precedent for AI-generated content.

I have personally used Eleven Labs for the last few months now. It’s honestly SCARY how accurate this thing is. If you use the paid version and upload a 30 minute video of yourself talking, the version it creates is basically 100% accurate (atleast in my opinion).

Bitcoin Tanks and Meme Tokens Crumble Amid Market Turmoil

Bitcoin (BTC) plummeted to $60,000 during the European morning on Wednesday, marking a 4% drop in the last 24 hours. This decline led the broader digital asset market, with the CoinDesk 20 Index (CD20) falling nearly 3.3%. The downturn followed a $13 million outflow from U.S. spot BTC ETFs, breaking a five-day inflow streak. Further selling pressure is anticipated from the potential distribution of up to 140,000 BTC by the defunct exchange Mt. Gox, according to QCP Capital.

Meanwhile, U.S. election-themed meme tokens are experiencing severe losses, with some down nearly 95% from their peak prices. Solana-based Jeo Boden (BODEN) dropped 70% in the past week and 80% in the last 30 days. Even Donald Trump-themed tokens have declined, despite Trump's rising electoral prospects post-debate. The political finance (PoliFi) sector contracted by 11% in the last 24 hours. Austin Freimuth of Messari noted that Trump’s running mate selection could trigger the creation of new meme coins.

On a brighter note, the crypto industry is entering a major growth phase, with its value climbing over $750 billion in the first half of the year, according to Architect Partners. The report highlighted that crypto is recovering from the "crypto winter" much faster than the internet rebounded post-dot-com bubble, likening crypto's current growth to the early stages of the internet's rise.
